Windows 8.1 was released last night, so I thought I’d pull together some reviews and other links relating to this. I installed Windows 8.1 this morning and had a bit of a look around – I’ll write up some of my initial thoughts next week.

    One feature I really like in Windows 8.1 is the SkyDrive integration. This is the best implementation of cloud storage I have seen yet. My Mac SkyDrive now feels like a second class citizen.

  2. Agreed! Related to this is being able to browse your PC from within the SkyDrive app. One of the most common queries I heard from teachers is how students get to their documents, music, etc. from within the modern/tile interface. It wasn’t easy in 8; in 8.1 you have a file browser in SkyDrive. Easy!
