Student Task

Design a Wellbeing Hub that helps people feel calm, connected, and healthy.

Your hub should include spaces for calming downconnecting with others, and moving your body.

You must build 3 spaces:

  • CALM: a quiet or peaceful place
  • CONNECT: a place to meet or talk
  • MOVE: a place to move your body

Remember to:

  • Use signs or boards to explain your ideas
  • Make your hub safe and welcoming
  • Be creative!

Optional Extensions

Redstone

You could add:

  • Light systems that change between calm/active modes
  • Doors that open/close to manage noise or flow
  • Timers or indicators for movement zones

Code Builder

You could add:

  • An NPC or Agent that:
    • Greets visitors and explains zones
    • Guides users through a calm routine or movement path
    • Asks reflection questions (“How are you feeling?”)

Build something that helps people feel safe, happy, and included!

Show your build with screenshots or a screen-recording.

✅ Student Rubric

How will my build be checked?

⭐ 1. We built all 3 spaces

  • Awesome: We built CALM, CONNECT, and MOVE spaces
  • Getting there: We built 2 spaces
  • Keep going: We built 1 or none

⭐ 2. Our build helps people feel good

  • Awesome: Our spaces clearly help people feel calm, included, and active
  • Getting there: Some spaces help, but not all
  • Keep going: It’s not clear how our build helps wellbeing

⭐ 3. I explained my ideas

  • Awesome: We used signs or talked clearly about our build
  • Getting there: We explained some parts
  • Keep going: We haven’t explained our ideas yet

⭐ 4. We worked well as a team

  • Awesome: We shared ideas, took turns, helped each other, and made decisions together
  • Getting there: We worked together sometimes, but we needed reminders to listen or share jobs
  • Keep going: We found it hard to work together and need more practice sharing and helping

Extra Challenge (optional):

  • I used Redstone or Code Builder to make my hub interactive
